Ghost Stamping

Ghost Stamping

I combined the die-cut inlaying technique with the ghost stamping technique on this one-layer anniversary card. It is really fun to puzzle these pieces together, although I did run into a bit of a snag because my banner dies were too small to contain the sentiments. I managed to extend the cuts on both sides with a craft knife.

Graffiti Stamping

Graffiti Stamping

Clean & Simple One Layer Cards 3 started at onlinecardclasses.com on March 10, but I haven’t posted any of my homework until now. This card was inspired by Shari Carroll’s Graffiti Stamping card on Day 5 — I just loved her design! I stamped the sentiments on a 5-1/2″ x 4-1/4″ piece of Whisper White card stock and adhered the panel to a Pool Party card base.

Featured Stamper: Mynnette Kitchen

Browsing through Featured Stamper stamping_mynn‘s gallery on SCS last Sunday, my eye fell on her striking Girl Hexies card. Since I had some new stamping supplies that included hexagons, my choice was made! I don’t think I did Mynnette’s card justice with my CASE, but I had fun making it. And that’s what it’s all about, isn’t it?

Lots of Lovely Layers

Lots of Lovely Layers

I had fun using the Triple Stamping technique with oval layers that fit nicely inside the A2 Filigree Delight die-cut. Because this birthday card was created for a friend called Rose, I decided to pull out my retired Wild Rose stamp set, and stamp the images with current Stampin’ Up! colors for a fresh, updated look.

As Seen on StampTV
The Stenciled Color Blocking video on StampTV inspired this (early) Christmas card. In fact, I made four cards, each with a different color card base. This one was made with Soft Sky card stock, but the others look great as well, if I say so myself.
