Remember this card I made when I was taking the Online Card Class Pattern Play? Well, I decided to make an anniversary card for my sister and BIL with some of the leftovers. After I stamped the sentiment on the white banner, I traced the letters (and the numbers on the tiny heart) with a glitter pen.

Last month I combined an SCS challenge with a StampTV challenge to create this card, and even won a StampTV prize package with it! I CASEd suen’s Birthday in Bloom card, and followed the horizontal Tic Tac Toe line Flower Image(s) – Scor-Pal – Green of Lee’s “Gina’s Favorites” surprise challenge. I rock ‘n’ rolled the flowers and added half pearls to their centers. The sentiment was heat embossed.

My friend Cindy creates the most beautiful cards, which she shares on her fabulous blog Stamps, Paper, and Ink. When I saw her lovely Secret Gard card, I couldn’t resist CASEing it! This is my sister’s 50th birthday card (the English translation for Proficiat is Congratulations).

After a very loooong winter, it is finally time for some Spring Flowers (this month’s WMS blog party theme)! I CASEd a striking Color Blocking card by Featured Stamper Lionsmane on SCS, using various images from the Camellia stamp set. The word “belated” was omitted from the Fancy Phrases sentiment — not only did it not fit onto the tag, I never use it on my cards because DH is not a big fan of belated birthday wishes. He likes to mail birthday cards a week in advance, whereas I try to get them to arrive on the special day itself.

On April 10, 1983 eight enthusiastic bicyclists took off on an adventure of a lifetime: a bicycle ride from New York to California and back! Only three of them completed the journey (DH was one of them) and I made this card for them to commemorate their achievement!
I believe it’s the first time I’ve used this U.S.A. map stamp that I’ve had in my collection for years — I guess I was just waiting for the perfect opportunity to get it inked up. I colored it in with the colors of the T-shirts they wore on their trip: red, white, and blue. The bike image and die-cut are new, and I bought them pretty much for this occasion. It was wonderful not having to fussy cut those little bikes!
