I played with my new Funky Feathers set from Waltzingmouse Stamps today. Ever since seeing Jennifer McGuire’s card on Day 1 of Summer Card Camp 2, I have been wanting to try her technique, only with multi-colored graphic feathers instead of single-colored greetings. I cut the white banner 3″ wide and was able to slide it through the Fancy Tag die-cut. The sentiment was white embossed and the Bermuda Bay card base was dry embossed with the Woodgrain embossing folder.

A few days ago there was a new addition to the family, and I can attest after seeing her picture on-line: Kimberly is definitely the cutest baby ever! I wanted to make a special, personalized card for her (and her parents) and was happy to see new color schemes added to this week’s Summer Card Camp 2 challenges. The sketch was also provided in class, and it was an opportunity to pull out an old favorite: the Top Note die.
