Shadow Tiles
Here’s a nice monochromatic and very mailable card (which is going to be on its way to Belgium later today) using the Shadow Tiles technique from the December 2013/January 2014 edition of the Technique Junkie Newsletter.

I stamped the image and sentiment first, then scored the 5-1/4″ x 4″ vanilla card stock at every inch both vertically and horizontally using the Simply Scored Diagonal Plate. Then came the more time-consuming part: lining up two Post-it® notes against the bottom edges of each square and sponging Crumb Cake ink to cover the bottom corner. When the entire card is done, the effect is quite wonderful.

Thanks for stopping by!
