Kristina Werner of Online Card Classes had some great tips on using bold patterned paper on your cards. One of her techniques was applied on this card: the patterned paper was cut into 4″ x 3/4″ strips and adhered to the card base. I didn’t want to cover up this striking background, so I finished the card with a simple, yet elegant Spellbinders label. Next time I won’t be too lazy to pull out the Bow-Easy; my bow would have looked a whole lot better!
Thanks for stopping by!

Vera, this is beautiful! Makes me want to go upstairs to my craft room and pull out some of the bold patterned paper that has been collecting dust! You are really making some stunning samples for the class.

The label is the perfect accent with that beautiful paper. Great job, Vera!
I’m taking a bit of a break from stamping but can’t wait to try out some of these ideas.
