After I don’t know how many months I decided to pull out my sewing machine again. It’s a good thing I remembered Gina K.’s Janome Sew tutorials, especially the threading one. Things didn’t go as well as I’d hoped, as you can tell, so please don’t look too closely at the stitching.
I made this card for my husband, who’s returning from a trip to the MacWorld Expo in San Franscisco today. The layout is another Viva la Verve sketch, the first one of the new year. I cut two Vintage Oval frames out of Very Vanilla card stock, stamped the sentiment on the bottom one, and made a 1-1/4″ window in the top one, then put them together with dimensionals.
Thanks for stopping by!
