Inspiration Mosaic is one of my favorite Gina K. Designs stamp sets. On her blog, designer Melanie Muenchinger showed how to create a fast background by stamping the image on patterned paper and coloring the sections with different colors. I’ll be adding this card to her Two Years and 25 Sets customer blog hop!
I stamped the mosaic with black VersaFine ink on Petals & Paisleys Designer Series Paper and embossed with clear powder. Then I used three different blue-green Copic markers to color all but one of the sections. The section behind the “Happy Birthday!” sentiment was left uncolored. The other sentiment was stamped with VersaMark ink on one of the darkest sections and embossed with white powder. Seven Old Olive brads were added to the skinny section in the top right corner.
Thanks for stopping by!
