“Plant your feet firmly and let your heart have wings.” I thought this sentiment was a perfect match for these butterflies. Have you tried making one of these pop-up cards yet? I participated in a “pop-up card” swap and decided to use this great tutorial by Mary Jo Albright on SCS: Free Standing Pop-Up Card. The amazing thing is that this card folds completely flat for mailing!
I stamped the Great Friend butterfly twice with Riding Hood Red ink on Whisper White card stock, and twice on a Post-it® note. The latter were cut out to be used with the masking technique: Cover the stamped butterflies with the masks and stamp the large grass image on top of the butterflies with Kiwi Kiss ink. When you remove the Post-it® notes, the grass appears to be in the background.
Thanks for stopping by!

After your birthday pop-up card, I didn’t think there could be another to top it. Then you created this beauty…… you never cease to amaze me!
