I did not use the sanding technique with the dry-embossed Manhattan Flower on this card. Instead I inked up one side (the “flat” one) of the textured impressions die with a brayer, inserted a piece of Whisper White card stock, and ended up with a Brocade Blue background for the white outlined roses.
This card design is totally CASEd from the very talented Krystal De Leeuw. I saw this card in her SCS gallery and it was just perfect, so why change anything? I did use different (but similar) colors for my version.
