This idea popped into my head when I saw Emily’s Color Combination challenge (CC194) on SCS this morning. The plaid background was created by inking up just the edge of my brayer (first with Really Rust ink, next with Going Gray ink), and drawing stripes onto the Very Vanilla card stock in two directions — a technique I learned at the Stampin’ Up! regional seminar in Virginia Beach earlier this month. The rest of the card is pretty self-explanatory. Clean and simple, just the way I like to make them!
Thanks for stopping by!

Oh Vera, this is fantastic. Can you please demonstrate this technique at one of your classes! Absolutely adore this card,

Ah…Lovely. I’ve been wanting to try this technique but hadn’t gotten around to it. The colors and layout are great.
