I got a Janome Sew Mini sewing machine several months ago, but I hadn’t even used it until I made this card. In fact, I made several of them for a winter card swap with my upline’s group. You can see I started out with just a little bit of sewing this time. Still, I hope I’m making my mom (a very talented seamstress) proud!
The sentiment from the Holiday Collection stamp set was stamped with VersaMark ink and white embossed. I stamped the little snowflake with Baja Breeze ink on Whisper White card stock and punched it out with a 1/2″ circle punch to fit inside the Build-A-Brad. I punched a 1/8″ hole through the felt snowflake and the striped ribbon for the brad, attached everything to the Kiwi Kiss card stock, and then adhered this to the front of the Real Red card.
Thanks for stopping by!

This is fabulous. You must have had some sewing experience. Your stitching is perfection! How easy is the Janome to use? Also, what goes on sale the 26th. I think my Cuttlebug is dying, I may have to get a big shot afterall.
