I’ve been admiring all the cards that were made with Beate’s latest Weekend Sketch (#64), and thought I would try combining the layout with today’s Color Combination challenge (Pretty Red Kisses) on SCS.
I placed a polka dotted piece of Pretty in Pink Prints Designer Series Paper on a Riding Hood Red card base. The Whisper White panel measured 5″ x 2-3/4″ before I scalloped the top and bottom edges. I stamped the large heart with Riding Hood Red ink on Glossy White card stock and the little love heart (part of the “tic-tac-toe” image) with Pretty in Pink ink on Whisper White card stock. I punched out the little heart and glued it on a Build-A-Brad, which I placed on the large heart.
The sentiment was stamped and cut into four small pieces, then adhered to the Bella Rose Designer Series panel with dimensionals. I also tied red striped grosgrain ribbon around the Kiwi Kiss panel before adhering it to the card.
Thanks for stopping by!
