My awfully talented Great Swaps friend Jessie Rone was chosen as the Featured Stamper on SCS last Sunday (FS80), but I hadn’t had a chance yet to participate in the challenge. I found the card I wanted to CASE and turned mine into a birthday card for my aunt in Belgium.
It was my first time using inchies on a card as well, and they are fun! Too bad I don’t have a 1″ square punch, though. I stamped three images from the Pocket Silhouettes set in Old Olive on Very Vanilla card stock and punched them out with the 1-1/4″ square punch. Then I used my hobby blade, ruler and cutting mat to turn those squares into inchies.
All the colors were picked from the (retired) Brocade Background Designer Series paper. I stamped the Dutch birthday greeting with Chocolate Chip ink in the top right corner of the card.
Thanks for stopping by!
