I fell in love with this gorgeous new vintage set as soon as I saw it! Too bad I don’t know exactly how to pronounce it, as the set is called Flores Suaves (and is only available from the Hispanic supplement, Celebrando Creatividad). The Designer Series Paper I used is also from this Hispanic catalog. I thought the butterfly image would work great with the Glowing Image technique (in the August/September 2008 Technique Junkie Newsletter) that I wanted to teach at my next stamp class.
Shelli Gardner showed us how to create the ruffled taffeta ribbon at convention (by first pulling the ribbon in half and then continuously pulling on a single thread near the center). I also added one of the new Filigree embellishments with a black brad.
Thanks for stopping by!
