When I send a hand-stamped card to my parents, they tend to keep it displayed for a very long time. That’s where I got this idea to make a View-Master card that you send for one holiday (say, Thanksgiving), but when Christmas comes around and the card is still sitting on top of the fireplace mantel, your recipient just turns the wheel and the next holiday image (say, a Christmas tree) appears.
I used four stamps from the Holiday Blitz set (pumpkin, tree, clover, and bunny) to cover four holidays with this card. The sentiment is from the Happy Everything set, and I omitted the letter S from “holidays” when I inked up the stamp with several markers. The colors match the various holiday images on the View-Master reel.
Can you believe I made 12 of these cards for a Wow Card Swap at Stampin’ Up!’s convention?
Thanks for stopping by!

This is such a cool idea! I’m just trying to catch up from Convention overload myself! I think it’ll probably take another week!
Keep up the good work!

Vera, this is an awesome idea. My parents do too- I may just have to do this! Haven’t done a view-master in a long time!
