Have you tried the Wet Watercolor Crayons technique yet? I’m teaching a stamp class this weekend where we’ll be making this card with the retiring Wild Rose set. The rose and leaf stamps were colored with wet Watercolor Wonder Crayons and stamped on watercolor paper, then cut out. It’s such a different look than when you use ink (perhaps you can tell better if you click the image and view the larger picture).
I placed the rose on a panel of Soft Sky Prints Designer Series paper. If you’re interested in any of the 2007-2008 In Color items, you should order them soon, as Stampin’ Up! will probably run out of them before August 10. The Purely Pomegranate and Blue Bayou double-stitched ribbon have already sold out.
Thanks for stopping by!
