I am catching up on the Great Swaps Girls challenges, since I just returned from a three-week vacation in Belgium. This card combines both the Featured Swapper challenge (yay, Lisa!) and color challenge of this past week.
I found this wonderful window flowers card in Lisa’s SCS gallery, and decided to use the One of a Kind stamp set on my version.
I stamped the big flower twice on Certainly Celery and twice on Cameo Coral paper, and cut out the different layers of the flower. Then I stamped it twice on the 5″ x 2-1/4″ Whisper White strip and paper pieced the cut-out flowers on top. The hearts of the little flowers were colored in with a marker, and the hearts of the big flowers were stamped in Cameo Coral and punched out, then adhered with a Stampin’ Dimensional.
I decided to move my ribbon to a different location, and layered the sentiment on top of a Certainly Celery oval over the ribbon. Hope I did Lisa proud!
Thanks for stopping by!
